Ink & Bleach Art Classes

You will be using black Quink Ink ( not all other inks work with the bleach) and ordinary household thin bleach ( as for laundry) and watercolour brushes.

The black ink can be diluted with water to create different shades of grey or tonal values. You will do some simple painting just using the ink and water to see what can be achieved  . Once dried, the ink can not be removed from the paper or diluted  with water. 

The bleach, when mixed with the ink in various strengths turns the ink to shades of brown. You will do some simple paintings with mixtures of different strengths. 

Tutor: Leonora De Lange – Is  an award-winning artist, miniaturist and art teacher from South Africa, now living in Lossiemouth on a Global Talent Visa endorsed by the National Arts Council of the UK.  Leonora given some successful art classes at the Nairn Community and arts centre. She works in various mediums ( pencil, charcoal, ink, ink and bleach, oils, acrylics and pastels) and enjoys a variety of subject matter.
