Forres Area Community Trust is a development trust which aims to make the Forres area a better place to live, work and visit. Membership of FACT is completely free and open to all.
FACT owns and runs Forres Town Hall, which is at the heart of our community – a place where people come together, where events happen, and where local life thrives.
It costs over £11,500 every month to keep the Town Hall open, and we rely completely on funding from grants and donations to run the Trust, but funding is scarce.
To help secure our future, we’re launching ‘Friends of Forres Town Hall’ – a simple way for individuals to support us with a regular monthly contribution.
YOUR SUPPORT WILL HELP TO:
- Keep Forres Town Hall open and welcoming
- Maintain and improve our facilities
- Support local groups, events, our staff and volunteers
- Secure Forres Town Hall for future generations

FACT Membership Online Application
I wish to apply for Membership of the Forres Area Community Trust (FACT) and can confirm that I support the aims and objectives as outlined in the Articles of Association.
The FACT Directors will consider your application at the next Board Meeting and will notify you of their decision by email or by post.
Full FACT Members are entitled to elect, and be elected as, a FACT Director and join the FACT Board.
A FACT Director is a voluntary role within the organisation.
All FACT Members will receive regular updates and are welcome to comment on, support and get involved in our activities, events and projects.
