Main Hall

The Main Hall is the heart of our building. It is a large space that works well for a wide variety of events and activities including fitness classes, large club meetings, music and drama productions, film events, receptions and parties.

A large room with a curtained stage at the north end, this is the largest hall that Forres Town Hall offers. The Main Hall and Lesser Hall can be combined by opening the double doors separating the two halls. Overhanging part of the floor is the balcony. The Main Hall is complemented by Wifi, heating and lighting. People with limited mobility can easily access the Main Hall.

The balcony has plush deep red velvet seating for 100 persons. The balcony is accessed via a stone staircase from the foyer, so is currently unsuitable for people with limited mobility.
