Consultancy, Feasibility Studies and Community Engagement

We help you take new projects forward.

We provide consultancy services for not for profit organisations, councils and other organisations.

We have delivered a number of consultancy projects for organisations who were looking for support to design, deliver, monitor or evaluate projects and initiatives. We have undertaken studies in the Forres area, to help organisations set a strategy or determine local need and support for an idea. We have worked with organisations to support fundraising efforts, deliver presentations, provide tours of the area and deliver training on a variety of areas including;

  • Tour of community facilities and the local area
  • Securing Funding
  • Capital Appeals
  • Working with Communities
  • Funding and finance
  • Work with developers and planners
  • Community research
  • Consultation and Research findings
  • Community Asset Transfer
  • Managing Community Buildings and Land
  • Engaging with Residents Associations.

We deliver quality sessions to suit your business or group’s needs whether that be over a half day, full day or by creating a bespoke plan for you. We work with up to 30 delegates per session and have received excellent feedback on our work. We are proud to create something that represents real value for money for our customers and any surplus made from consultancy projects is reinvested into the community we serve.

Please enquire with info@forresarea.org to find out more about how we can help and our rates.

“FACT were commissioned by us to research what folks felt about the transfer of Leanchoil Hospital into community ownership. In partnership with tsiMoray, FACT carried out an extremely thorough piece of work, contacting over 500 people through a Town Hall event, an on-line survey and speaking to a range of people from Forres Academy pupils to old age pensioners. The report provided a comprehensive view of how Leanchoil could be used and run for the benefit of the community, and this gave us confidence to continue working towards the Community Asset Transfer of the hospital from NHS Grampian.

Debbie and her staff are always professional and efficient, offering advice where needed (FACT was going through the same process for the Town Hall), listening to us and responding to our requests. This is a great example of local organisations working together to deliver the best support for the people of Forres and surrounding area.”

Director, Leanchoil Trust

“Backed by a proven track record, the F.A.C.T. consultancy team have a depth of knowledge and expertise, which is an invaluable resource to the local community.

During 2017-18, Moray Waste Busters looked into expanding it’s operations. As a small organisation, we lacked the skills and capacity, to undertake such a task. Debbie and her team were with us through the whole process, from the initial market research and feasibility study, on to successful applications with both the Scottish Land Fund, and LEADER,

We are ever grateful for their support, and highly recommend their services.”

Phillip Mills

Ops Manager, Moray Waste Busters

“In the last two years tsiMORAY and FACT have worked jointly on several different projects. Most closely on the community engagement events and surveys for the Leanchoil Trust and Erskine to scope out whether there is a need for specialist support for Veterans in the North of Scotland.

Together we were able to reach a wide range of individuals and groups and gather results  that informed the work going forward.

It has been a real pleasure working with FACT and I look forward to our next partnership project.

Thank you.”
